Now that we’ve seen all the Christmas movies on Netflix, we’re ready for something new! In the first month of the year there will be a lot of funny movies and interesting series to watch! Stream these movies and series on Netflix in January.
1. Suzan & Freek: Between you and me
Dutch musical duo Suzan & Freek have made a documentary about their success in the music business in collaboration with the streaming service Netflix! The couple, who live together both professionally and privately, give fans a behind-the-scenes look. We can expect the docu-film in January, but the exact date is not yet known! Go to Netflix and search the title, then you can get a notification when the movie is available. Useful!
2. Sparkling Empire: New York
Several versions of this reality series can already be streamed on Netflix, but the streaming service will release another version in 2023. This time, the show is set in New York City. We follow the life of a group of extremely wealthy Asian-American people. Their life is all about luxury, fashion and lots of drama! The episodes will be online from January 20, 2023!
3. Ginny and Georgia (season 2)
Good news for fans of the romantic comedy series Ginny & Georgia. They are starting the year off right and will be able to watch season 2 of the show on January 5th! After watching this trailer, we expect Season 2 to still contain a lot of drama, love, and suspense. We can not wait!
4. Divergent
In 2014, this sci-fi action movie first appeared on the big screen. The film became so popular that many more soon followed. The movies had previously been on Netflix, but were later taken down. Due to numerous fan noises, Netflix decides to make “Divergent” available to the general public again. Do you want to watch your favorite movie again or have you never seen it? So pack the popcorn, because we can expect it again in January!

5. The lying life of adults
La Vita Bugiarda Degli Adultos, or The Lying Life of Adults, is an Italian drama series that will be broadcast on Netflix from January 4, 2023. As we are used to from Netflix originals, this series will become very popular in no time. Set in the 1990s, the series follows young Giovanna as she leaves her carefree childhood behind and slowly follows the path to adulthood. It’s a touching series and the trailer already promises us a lot!
