Sheikh Abdullah Rushdi announced the death of his wife in a post on his official Facebook account.
Rushdi said, “I moved to the mercy of Almighty God my beloved wife after ten years which lasted for fifteen years during which she was the loving wife and faithful companion on the journey.”
And he added: “God has commanded us to separate today in the hope that I will meet her in the gardens of eternity, God willing. The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow, Sunday, at the Sayyidah Nafisa Mosque in Cairo, after the midday prayers”. .
