Warning and solution
If your phone is in the “danger zone”, you will get a warning from WhatsApp before the app stops working. You may be able to update your device to a newer version of your operating system, via settings (gear). If that doesn’t work, and if you want to continue using Whatsapp, you’ll need to buy a new (more) phone. More information is available via the link at the bottom of this article.
