St. Petersburg SKA hockey players lost in extra time to Vityaz near Moscow with a score of 5:6 in the away match of the regular season Fonbet – KHL.
As part of SKA, goals were scored by Igor Ozhiganov (10th minute), Dmitry Yashkin (39, 49), Marat Khairullin (43) and Mikhail Vorobyov (45). Stepan Starkov (20, 35), Alexander Yaremchuk (30), Tyler Graovac (32), Alexei Volgin (39) and Vladimir Galuzin (65) scored against Vityaz.
SKA continues to hold first place in the Western Conference standings, earning 74 points in 46 games. Vityaz is in seventh place with 48 points in 45 games.
In the next match, SKA will play Traktor away on January 4, while Vityaz will host Kunlun the day before.
