(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Hwang Kwang-mo = On the morning of the 31st, Kwang-hoon Choi, president of the Korean Pharmaceutical Association, puts up a notice in a pharmacy in Namdaemun-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, stating that sales are limited to stabilize the supply and demand for cold medicines.
Through the campaign, the Korean Pharmaceutical Association informed pharmacies of restrictions on the sale of cold medicines and asked them to post notices on pharmacy doors.
The notice contains content encouraging visitors to the pharmacy to purchase respiratory medicines such as cold medicine for 3-5 days only and not to purchase more than necessary.
The Korean Pharmaceutical Association described the campaign as “a voluntary action by the society of pharmacists to stabilize the supply and demand for cold medicines.”
To stabilize the supply and demand for cold medicines, the government announced its decision to limit the sale of cold medicines in bulk. 2022.12.31
