The young man was on his way from Pasching to Linz around 21:00. In the Staudach area (municipality of Leonding) an animal ran across the road, which literally threw the 24-year-old off the road: he lost control of the car, entered the oncoming lane and crashed into an embankment. The car then overturned several times and landed on its wheels next to the roadway.
The young driver was injured and was taken to the accident hospital in Linz after first aid.
