Dubai: Within hours of the celebration, all major tourist destinations are making final preparations to usher in the new year. Everyone is waiting for the guests preparing never seen before celebration program.
People are looking for places to party on land, sea and sky within their budget. Burj Khalifa and Marina are the heart of the festivities. There are celebrations in Alseef, Global Village and Expo City.
Global Village has prepared a New Year celebration in 7 programs. The New Years party starts at 8.30pm and lasts until 1.30am.

Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa will be the site of the biggest celebrations in the world. It is reported that around one million people will attend the celebrations here. Access to the Burj Khalifa will be closed at 4pm. The largest building in the world will host a record-breaking fireworks display. Dubai Frame, Bluewaters, The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Resort and Burj Al Arab will also be celebrated. Seats must be reserved in advance.

All golf clubs in Dubai celebrate New Years. The festivities will be accompanied by fireworks and artistic performances. The celebration will also be held at Dubai Creek, Dubai Park and Resort and Dubai Festival City. Those tired of the festivities here will head for the desert and the Northern Emirates. Rasul Khaimah has long hours of events. The fireworks will also be held at midnight.
Drone show and concert
There’s also the chance to see hundreds of drones paint the sky on New Year’s Eve. The drone show is part of the shopping festival at The Beach, Bluewaters and JBR. Parking is free in Sharjah
Sharjah: As part of its New Year celebrations, the Municipal Corporation has announced that parking will be free in Sharjah on January 1st. The law does not apply in the blue marked 7-day paid parking zone. Whoever parks here must pay.
