Rapper Boechi’s grave was partially destroyed in a Tilburg cemetery. A piece of the tombstone has broken off and there is soot damage.
Ruchendell ‘Boechi’ Windster (30) went previous shot this month in Willemstad, the capital of Curaçao. The rapper from Tilburg had Antillean roots, made music in Papiamentu and was on the island to perform.
Destruction is second Brabant broadcasting “a huge shock” for Boechi’s widow and their children. “They wanted to visit her grave,” says Tara Janssens, a good friend of the family. “There they saw how a piece of the stone broke off.” The sea of flowers on the grave was also partially trampled on, according to Janssens.
The next of kin think it’s a deliberate action. Police are currently investigating the case.
