Sharjah: Sharjah has paid off the debts of 10 lakh dirhams of prisoners. Sharjah’s Punishment and Rehabilitation Department paid off the debts of 12 prisoners in cooperation with government and private institutions. The action is part of United Prisoners Week in the Gulf.

On this day, prisoners were given the opportunity to bond with their family members and participate in sporting events. The government is implementing various programs to improve the quality of life of prisoners. Such schemes are implemented with the aim of leading a new life after getting out of prison and not going back to committing crimes.
