ABU DHABI – The Agriculture and Food Safety Authority has announced that heavy fines will be imposed on those who violate the Food Safety Act. The first warning will be issued for violations of the law on the preparation, distribution, storage and production of food resources harmful to public health. Re-penalty will be imposed. If the law is violated for the third time, the license will be revoked. The penalty will depend on the seriousness of the offence.
