Several mountain passes are open on Thursday mornings, but the road traffic center asks motorists to keep up to date with the weather and road conditions.

Several traffic accidents and slippery conditions were reported on Norwegian roads in the morning hours on Thursday.

Along the E6, as many as three trailers broke off and blocked the road.

At a quarter past five on Thursday morning, a lorry descended 20 meters with a guardrail and sheared off at the Patterød exit in Moss on the E6.

– There are also reports of very slippery road surfaces, wrote the police on Twitter.

Mikael Olsen at Vegtrafikksentralen öst informs shortly after 7 on Thursday morning that the road is still blocked.

– I dare not say how long the clearing will take, but it could appear that a tow truck has arrived on the scene, Olsen tells Dagbladet.

Just before 11 the road was cleared and opened to traffic.

Three trucks cut off

Olsen says that in Østfold there is a lot of slush on the roads, while closer to Oslo there has been a lot of snow.
