Abidjan, 27 December 2022 (AIP) — Singer artist Djomassé Raoul, known as an American, died on Tuesday 27 December 2022 of a cerebrovascular accident (CVA) at Cocody University Hospital Center (CHU), the AIP has learned.

American was interned at Cocody University Hospital after suffering a heart attack in Yamoussoukro, where he was attending a performance during the holiday season. Plunged into a coma, his parents had launched an SOS for him to be transferred to a better equipped hospital.

American had overcome the prejudices related to his dwarfism to reveal himself as a talented singer, entertainer, comedian
