NEW YORK – One person was killed and three others injured after a quadruple shooting in the Bronx Wednesday night, police said.
Gunfire erupted around 6:30 p.m. near the corner of East Tremont Avenue and Southern Boulevard in the West Farms neighborhood, according to police.
It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the shooting, which according to police took place during a vigil, but a total of four people were injured. One person died of his injuries, while three others were injured. The wounded should survive.
An investigation is underway.
