Capcom prevents fans from developing Resident Evil Remake and Code: Veronica – Gaming – News

RE1 remake (REmake) is the best remake ever and it came out on Gamecube (later on Steam).
This is how a remake should be, same as the old game but with new things added, graphically much improved. No RE1 doesn’t need a remake because it already exists and it’s great!
Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the RE2 and RE3 remakes (or rather the reimagenings because it doesn’t follow the same story as the original)
Don’t get me wrong RE2 remake is a fun game and graphically very nice, unfortunately no fixed restart points (understandable, but I think that’s a shame as a fan of RE oldskool) like the original and no 4 different endings like the original. In RE2 remake, the stories are exactly the same as in your Leon A or Claire A
plays. In the original you had this difference.
The RE3 remake is even bad compared to the original, it also lacks 1/3 of the original story. I have yet to play the RE3 remake, but Nemesis doesn’t look good, give me the original, at least it looks creepy and cool, not so loose face as in the remake.

If there’s a CVX remake, hopefully it’s kinda good and not crap like the RE3 remake.
RE4 is already getting a remake (if they drop the quick-time events I’ll get it).
