Beirut Sports Club suffered its first loss in the “Super League” basketball league for the West Asia region, against its host, Iraqi Oil, with a score of 87-100, today, Wednesday, in the second tournament group competition.

American professional Edgar Rafael Sosa established himself as the best player of the game, scoring 35 points, and his colleague Antoine Wiggins added 26 points with 10 rebounds, two assists and 3 steals.

Amir Saud on the other hand was the best with the Lebanese team, scoring 23 points, while the best player in Asia, Wael Arkaji, scored 17 points.

The Iraqi team, which had previously defeated the Syrian Al-Karamah in the opening round, leads the group standings with 4 points, and will play its next match against the Iranian Gorgan on January 3 in Tehran.
