Former President and Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev presented predictions for 2023 and these predictions went viral.
As of Tuesday (12/27/2022), the prediction he wrote on Twitter in the form of a thread has been viewed 25 million times and liked by more than 37,000 accounts.
The new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, described the prediction of the politician who is now a deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council “the most absurd prediction I have ever heard”.
Medvedev predicted that “some new state will form in Europe, which will include Germany, Poland, the Baltic states, Czechia, Slovakia and the Kiev Republic.”
The area now known as Western Ukraine “will be occupied by Poland and Hungary”, implying that in 2023 “the Ukrainian state will dissolve”.
Medvedev predicts that “a war will break out between France and the new German-led state.”
“Europe will be divided, Poland will suffer division as a result,” said Medvedev.

On the European Union, Medvedev said the regional organization “will dissolve once Britain reunites; and the euro will no longer be the single currency.”
The UK held a referendum on EU membership in 2016, and the results were used as the basis for the UK government’s exit from the organisation.
According to Medvedev, Northern Ireland will secede from England and join the Republic of Ireland.

He also predicted that “a civil war would break out in California and as a result Texas would stand up as a state in its own right.”
In his predictions, Texas and Mexico “will merge into one country.”
Also, “Elon Musk will win presidential elections in several states.”
For the economy, Medvedev predicts that “capital market centers will leave the United States and Europe and move to Asia.”
The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank “will dissolve” while the dollar and the euro “will no longer be a form of global reserve”.
