TIME.CO, Jakarta – PDI faction chairman Perjuangan DPRD DKI Jakarta Gembong Warsono asked the interim governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono focus on solving Jakarta’s 3 problems. Gembong communicated this in his political working report at the end of 2022 under the theme “Transition year”.
Gembong Warsono said that this report is a form of accountability to the people of DKI Jakarta.
“We still remember Pak’s confidence Jokowi that Pak Heru immediately completes river normalization, pursues transportation integration, and ultimately forecasts a recession in Jakarta,” Gembong said at the DKI DPRD Building on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
Aside from that, Gembong encouraged Heru Budi to focus on the normalization problems and drainage of the Ciliwung River. He also appreciated the first step in building the Ciliwung Sewer. Ciliwung’s normalization project stalled during the era of Governor Anies Baswedan.
“The faction is pushing the provincial government to catch up by five years by continuing normalization and river access in Jakarta,” he said.
There are six issues that are in the spotlight The PDIP faction includes:
1. Poverty reduction is not optimal
2. Coverage of clean water in DKI Jakarta
3. Equal access to health
4. Acceleration of flood prevention programs
5. Air quality in DKI Jakarta is still very bad
6. Practices of intolerance in state schools
