Although there is nothing to scoff at Dargo, except for the strange name. Modular platform, load-bearing body, independent suspension, turbo engine, robotised gearbox with two wet clutches and four-wheel drive with fifth-generation Haldex multi-disc clutch, repeatedly tested on European cars.
In China, the crossover has an option with a forced rear differential lock, but this Dargo is not on sale in Russia. Although even without it, the car, as practice has shown, easily copes with not too hardcore off-road and with hangings.
Dargo has short overhangs, a flat bottom, electronic simulations of blocking, an honest ground clearance of 20 centimeters and as many as five off-road modes: mud, sand, grass / gravel, snow and some kind of pothole, which only helps to cope with diagonal hangings and driving through large pits and other obstacles. In short, if you’re not going to do a Trophy Raid crossover, the whole set is more than enough.
