Battlestate Games announced on December 28,Escape from Tarkov]has released the patch notes for patch 0.13. Additional items have been revealed, including the new “Streets of Tarkov” map.
This patch brings the long awaited Streets of Tarkov.patch notesAccording to the map, there are buildings such as abandoned factories, hotels, news agency buildings, housing estates, car dealerships, shopping malls, cinemas, supermarkets, and more. There are plans to expand this map in the future. It is already expected to be the largest map in this work, but it appears it will still be large.
The number of players that can participate in this map is not disclosed in the patch notes. According to the previous developers, this map will contain bosses and numerous NPC scavs. Furthermore, it was said to be developed so that 30 to 40 players (PMC) could participate (TheGamer).
Also, light armor and heavy armor have been added as new skills. Depending on the progress of each skill, you can receive benefits such as mobility penalty and reduction of maximum consumption of durability value during repair. Weapons include the SR-2M “Veresk”, the Steyr AUG A1 and A3, and the Glock 19X. Also, we plan to add a grenade launcher that can be attached to AK and AR-15 firearms. New setting items have also appeared in co-op mode.
