It was heard in Athens
An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale was registered at 2:24 p.m. with its epicenter on the island of Evia, ANA-MPA reported.
The depth of the outbreak is 5 km. The quake was also felt in the region of Attica, where the capital Athens is located.
Today, another smaller earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale was registered in the sea off the coast of Crete. It makes itself felt in the eastern part of the island.
