The Gomel District Court in Belarus has sentenced three men to long prison terms for sabotaging a railway in February to disrupt the movement of Russian troops into Ukraine.

The website “Gomelas pavasaris” reported that Denis Dikun, Dmitriy Ravich and Oleg Molchanov were sentenced to 23, 22 and 21 years respectively for setting fire to the railway wardrobe.
The site reported that on February 28, Dikun, Molchanov and Ravich set fire to a connecting cabinet on the railway section leading from Mogilev to Mazir and on to Ukraine. As a result, traffic lights and junctions were temporarily deactivated on this section of road.
The three men were arrested on March 4 and charged with terrorism and extremism.
