The FFF delivered its verdict on Tuesday in the case between AF Virois and SM Caen with the status of resident of National 3.
This was the expected verdict! This Tuesday at the end of the afternoon, AF Virois communicated the result of the commission of FFF who studied the summons related to the eighth round match of the Coupe de France against SM Caen. And it is therefore the National 3 club that will face FC Nantes (Ligue 1) in the 32nd finals.
Like we announced itDieudonné Gaucho Debohi had actually come on as a substitute for Noa Lebreton in the 13and minute. However, the young 21-year-old Caen defender was suspended for this match after he picked up three bookings for the reserve team in National 2 (17 September, 5 and 26 November). A suspension that went into effect on December 5 at midnight. He could therefore not be deployed on Wednesday 21 December in the Coupe de France, having not served with the pennant team.
Unless SM Caen summons, the meeting should therefore take place on 7 January at 18:00. But it won’t be at the Pierre-Compte stadium in Vire. According to several sources, this match could take place at the Michel-D’Ornano stadium in Caen, where AF Virois was initially eliminated! It is therefore a new challenge that awaits Christophe Hoarau and his players against the last winner of the Coupe de France. A challenge that comes very soon… but the Norman coach has already shown that he knows how to adapt to dangers.
