The Kings of the World (2022) and The Pack (2022) are two of the award-winning films hitting the billboards this year to portray young people surrounded by violence, their life experiences and the alternatives they seek to get out of it. We spoke to its directors, Laura Mora and Andrés Ramírez Pulido, to better understand the reasons behind their stories and how they relate to the country’s violent history.
