The words of ex-Tornado goalkeeper Kim Martin Hasson that after each victory in Russia she was forced to drink vodka with the club’s management or sponsors are not true. RBC was informed about this in the press service of the club near Moscow.
“Maybe Kim really misses life in Russia! This is not true, ”the press service said.
Swedish ice hockey player saidthat in Russia she was forced to drink vodka. “We were forced to drink vodka with the club director. There was a lot of alcohol and refusal was considered rude. Sometimes I drank, sometimes I just pretended to pour it slowly,” Hasson said.
He added that this was always the case when the team won, “with the club director or sponsors”, but the ordinary Russians he met were “nice and sweet”.
Hasson is the silver medalist of the Turin Olympics and the bronze medalist of the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City as part of the Swedish national team, a two-time bronze medalist at the world championships. She played for Tornado in the 2011/12 season, becoming the champion of Russia.
