On Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 December, the mobile unit of the Transfusion, Tissue and Cellular Center of Cádiz will once again be in Rota so that blood donors can come and contribute with this gesture of solidarity so that hospitals have sufficient blood reserves to take care of patients who need transfusions to continue living.
This Tuesday they will meet at the San José de Calasanz school, while on Wednesday 28 they will go to the Maestro Eduardo Lobillo school, where citizens interested in donating blood can come from 5.30pm to 9.30pm.
In conjunction with these Christmas holidays, the Transfusion Center will give away a magnetic notebook to all the people who donate blood in these two days.
An appeal has once again been launched from the Transfusion, Tissue and Cell Center of Cadiz so that blood reserves in hospitals do not decrease and so that patients who need it can continue to be assisted.
The only requirement to be a donor is to be over 18 years old, in good health and weigh more than 50 kilos.
It is necessary for new donors to join this voluntary gesture because there are regular donors who have already reached their annual quota of donations (three in the case of women and four in the case of men) and the reserves are dwindling.
