There was a serious accident on the Schukkinkweg in Enschede this afternoon. A car went off the road and ended up in a ditch. Firefighters are working to free a passenger trapped in the car. Initially, the help of a trauma doctor was called for the victim, who was traveling from Eelde Airport to Enschede by helicopter. During the flight, the trauma helicopter deployment was cancelled.
