Donation Machines, an option to help in Guatemala
In this year-end season, in Guatemala have installed some Donation Machines. But what are these machines?
These are stations, where you find treatment options:
- Medical tests (EEGs, blood cultures, and more)
- Items (antibiotics, tubes, surgical prep, vaccines, painkillers, and more)
- Monetary values (from Q50.00), which are what you donate to acquire them.
This way you buy a certain item that appears and with this you are already supporting those who need it most, as it will go directly to one of the foundations.
An interesting fact is that payment methods in Guatemala can be donated by card or cash.
How can I donate in one of the Donation Machines?
By card:
- Choose the treatment on the screen touch and confirm it.
- Press the silver button.
- The POS will indicate with a blue light to insert or approach the card.
- It will give you a card with the chosen product.
Cash:
- Enter the money.
- Choose your treatment on screen touch and confirm it.
- It will give you a card with the chosen product.
Note that the machine accepts notes from Q5.00 to Q100.00
