Today, December 25, the police managed to stop a 28-year-old Hungarian man after driving at high speed.
EBERSTALZELL/ PUCKING. At 10.45am a motorist reported aggressive driving by a motorist on the A1 via an emergency call to the police. A civilian patrol from the Upper Austrian state traffic department took part in the search and was able to detect the car in question shortly after 11 o’clock in the Eberstalzell area. The night voyage was resumed immediately. The pilot continued to run at very high speed in the direction of Linz/Vienna.

Despite the powerful service vehicle, the pursuit was difficult because the motorist in question continued to drive in the left lane at a speed of 235 kilometers per hour, measured by video recording and a calibrated speedometer. He pushed several cars in front of him and even tried to overtake one in the third lane.

The vehicle was stopped at “Puckinger Berg”. The driver, a 28-year-old Hungarian, underwent a driver and vehicle check in Ansfelden. It turned out that the man was drunk. An alcohol test performed on him showed a value of 1.96 per thousand. During the official act it was discovered that the co-pilot had been banned from staying. He was arrested and transferred to the police detention center in Wels.
