The famous Czech actress Veronika Žilková has always caused quite a stir at Christmas. When all of her large family gathers at the Christmas Eve table, which she says was twenty people, they hardly amuse each other. In an interview with eXtra.cz, Veronika revealed how she intends to spend this Christmas and how many Christmas Eves she will have this year.
Christmas in stages
The family actress Veronika Žilková is very numerous, and therefore the well-known actress has decided to approach the Christmas family reunion in a slightly different way.
“The way it is with us is that since the family is large and we have various obligations to the grandmothers, I will have four Christmas Eves at once.” the actress boasted to eXtra.cz that the first round of Christmas Eve awaits today, December 23rd. “I will celebrate with my son Cyril, I have the twenty-fourth with Vincent and Kordula, the twenty-fifth with Agatha and the twenty-sixth with my friend’s family,” she added. She meant that friend musician Josef Holomačwho regularly accompanies her to most social events.
The famous actress is happy that they celebrate Christmas in stages. After all, if everyone were to meet at the Christmas table, it would be tough. “I’ve already experienced it when there were twenty of us at the Christmas table, so this time I’m glad it’s divided like this” he sighed in shock that he even cooked for everyone then. “I was younger then, and twenty people aren’t that many, because there were usually thirteen of us at a table,” said Žilková.
She is superstitious
“I’m glad this year is unusual, we have four Christmas Eves and it’s really nice that when the kids are older, it’s not just about opening presents, it’s also about opening your hearts, so it can easily be four days, this holiday of Christmas, as we call it here,” the influencer Agáta Hanychová’s mother said with a smile.
Buying gifts for such a large family must be difficult, but Veronika knows it well. “Every year we say we won’t give each other gifts this year, but then we can’t stand it and spend money and give each other gifts” said Veronika and added that the only one who still won’t have a present under the tree is Agátina’s unborn child. “It’s impossible, it’s a superstition” taught us the star of many Czech films and series.
Veronica eldest daughter Agáta Hanychová she is six months pregnant and expecting her third child, of whom she will be the father media mogul Jaromír Soukup.
