The head of the pharmacists’ union, Joe Salloum, wished “to insure milk and medicines, and warehouses and firms will stock medicines and milk, although they will inventory their wares at the end of the year.”
Salloum added, in an interview with Al-Jadeed, “The ‘Index of Medicine’ was released yesterday, Thursday and we are concerned that there will be a comprehensive solution for medicine and provision of support funds.
The pharmacists’ union explained: “The problem lies in the partially subsidized medicines, and for their availability, the subsidy must be withdrawn.”
