Moldova has responded sharply to the Russian Foreign Ministry over the threat of a catastrophe

Vode noted that Moldova is a peaceful and neutral state, but neutrality does not mean self-isolation, demilitarization or indifference to what is happening in the world.

“We are interested in strengthening our stability, including through NATO, the strongest political-military alliance in the world,” said the Moldovan Foreign Ministry representative.

He also stressed that in the international arena, Moldova lives in a complex region that has suffered from Russia’s brutal aggression against Ukraine.

“We need all the solidarity of our friends to overcome the many hybrid challenges we have to face. We are a free country and it is up to us to decide how to develop our country”, concluded Wode.

Earlier, Galuzin said that the intensification of cooperation between Chisinau and NATO countries in the military and military-technical fields is a factor allegedly undermining the security of Moldova itself.
