A hiker found a 1000 liter barrel along the Hoevensekanaaldijk in Hilvarenbeek on Saturday afternoon. There was a white substance next to the unloaded barrel, which probably leaked. The firefighters took measurements of the air, which showed that the substance was harmless. What it was, however, is not yet known. The vessel was located in the territory of Rijkswaterstaat. They will then clean it too.
