A Twitter social media post showing an advertisement about an electric train (KRL) commute narrated to make a sick note one way on line. In the upload, you can also see a photo that says “Get a sick note online in just 15 minutes.”
The Twitter account of KS Denta, who writes as a pediatrician in his biography, uploaded the announcement. In loading, it is also shown website service provider with known illness. One of the images shows an example of the sick note format.
“Advertisement on KRL this morning, full branding offer to get disease notes online. Huehuehue. How dare doctors want to collaborate here,” Denta wrote in his Twitter upload.
Denta said there were allegations of physician ethics violations up to a felony if he issued a sick note on line.
“My advice to colleagues, there is no need to join the search for a side here. The risk is too great. The potential for ethics violations and physician penalties is very high,” he said.
At the request for confirmation, the Management of PT Fast Healthy Indonesia Eka S Oktalianto gave an answer. First, he apologized for the uproar the announcement caused.
“First of all, we would like to apologize to all parties for the ‘inconvenience’ and a bit of a fuss about this promo,” Eka said through her statement as seen, Saturday (12/24/2022).
The management of PT Fast Healthy Indonesia also explained that it is an officially registered and legally valid company. The promo is a marketing strategy of suratsakit.com and healthycepat.com.
“Of course, you actually have to go through different procedures according to the procedures that have been done by doctors in Indonesia,” Eka said.
Eka explained several conditions if the patient wanted to get a sick note from suratsaki.com. The first is the question of patient identity.
“Users or patients need to answer several questions to find out their medical condition. Users need to provide full name, address, phone number cell phone, and date of birth. The user mustloading identity card (KTP or SIM) so that it can be validated
legally,” he said.
Then, the suratsakit.com doctor will analyze the patient’s condition by telemedicine. The doctor will decide whether or not the person deserves a sick note.
“The doctor will analyze the patient’s medical condition after all personal data has been validated. General practitioners will deal directly with the patient through telehealth services to find out the patient’s medical condition,” he said.
“If the medical condition does not give the right to a sick certificate, the general practitioner has the right to refuse the request for a sick certificate. And vice versa. In addition, the doctor has the right to determine the number of rest days of the patient according to his medical condition,” he said.
“General practitioners will advise patients to visit the nearest health facility if further treatment is required. Suratsakit.com and Sehatcepat.com do not provide digital prescriptions in their services,” he said.
