Five people were killed and 20 others injured in a rocket attack on Saturday morning on the city of Kherson, an area retaken from Kiev forces in November.
“Kherson. In the morning, Saturday, near Christmas, in the central part of the city,” Zelensky said on Telegram, posting images of the Russian missile attack.
“This attack kills for intimidation and amusement,” Zelensky complained.
“This is real Ukrainian life… The world needs to see and understand what an absolute evil we are fighting against,” he allegedly said. AFP extension.

On the day marking 10 months into the war, shelling rained down on the busy Saturday market in Kherson, where fire broke out.

“We know of at least five people killed and 20 others injured,” Deputy Head of Ukraine’s presidency Kyrylo Tymoshenko said on Telegram.

On December 15, Russian strikes killed two people, including a Red Cross worker in Kherson, and completely cut off power to the southern Ukrainian city.
