English Premier League club Manchester United have extended the contracts of striker Marcus Rashford, defenders Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw, as well as midfielder Frederik Rodríguez de Paula Santos, or Fred, as announced by the club manager, for one year team Erik ten Haag.

Those four players had contracts until the end of this season with an option to renew for another year, which has been exercised.
For the 25-year-old Rashford, his hometown club Manchester is his only stop in professional football so far, where he has been since 2015. The England forward has featured in 20 games this season and scored nine goal.
Meanwhile, 23-year-old ‘Porto’ student Dalot has represented ‘United’ since 2018, during which time he also spent a season on loan at ‘Milan’. The Portuguese has scored once in 20 games this season.
The 29-year-old Fred has also been with United since 2018, before representing Shakhtar Donetsk and Porto Internacional. Fred looks back on 17 games in the 2022/2023 season, in which a goal was scored.
The longest serving member of Manchester’s first team is 27-year-old Shaw, who joined ‘United’ in 2014 after moving from ‘Southampton’. The England defender has featured in 16 matches this season.
The Ten Haag team is in fifth place in the table after 14 games.
