There will be an increased police presence around large retail establishments, malls, shops, plazas and all places where many people congregate. Employees of the “Special Actions and Tactics” sectors of the Plovdiv Police Department and the Regional Gendarmerie Department will mainly patrol stations, bus stations and other strategic sites on the territory of Plovdiv. The goal is that guests and citizens of Plovdiv feel comfortable.

“We appeal to citizens to comply with legal rules and regulations, show tolerance, so that we can all peacefully and cheerfully spend these bright Christian holidays,” urged Commissioner Kostov.
