This response came after the outcry caused by artist Wael Jassar’s statement during his time as a guest on the ‘This is your place’ program via the SBC channel, where he said: “According to our cultures, customs and traditions, it is permissible present this kind of video clips? Why doesn’t the West take away our originality and high morality?” Aren’t we taking things from them that don’t look like us?”
And the Lebanese star continued: “I’m asking my question to people: Do you think a video clip of Toca-Taka is appropriate to watch with your children in your homes?”
