Rumors of a move from BVB youngster Youssoufa Moukoko to Chelsea have surfaced repeatedly in recent weeks. Now a separation between BVB and the newly minted national player (market value: 30 million/Transfermarkt.de) seems to be increasingly likely – not least because the teenager is demanding a mega salary.

The 18-year-old was reportedly given “one last offer for pain relief,” as reported by “Bild.” BVB is said to have increased the original salary by five million to six million. A concession Moukoko apparently doesn’t appreciate. Unlike the start of the contract negotiations, the forward is now asking for “seven million euros plus X”.
BVB star Moukoko’s contract is up
Moukoko’s previous salary is €1.8 million. And his agent Patrick Williams said: “We’re doing our job. A player like Youssoufa is interesting for all the top clubs in the world. Especially when he’s free and has a future in the German national team.”
Moukoko’s contract expires in the summer of 2023, without an agreement he would actually be available on a free transfer. And from next week he can officially negotiate with other clubs and sign a contract, even without the consent of the BVB.
Moukoko denies the reports
