In an enjoyable game, JDA Dijon toppled JL Bourg 90-83. A success that consolidates his place at the top of the standings.
Between Dijon and JL Bourg, two of the most beautiful rosters of BetclicElite, it promised to make sparks. Yet it was the defenses that first took precedence. The Bressans had chosen, successfully, to close the circle of access to the Burgundian interior. But they hadn’t been able to muzzle the talented Markis McDuffie who multiplied the baskets from the racket. Floyd and Palmer leave Bourg in contact as soon as they can take advantage of the fast game (23-19, 10′).
It’s next Maximus Courby who took over the attack to allow the Game to take control (27-28, 14′). While the two teams went hit-for-hit, Dijon went a little more cursor late in the second quarter. The Burgundians began a rush under the impetus of McDuffie and Gavin Wareoften well found by a David Holston more in organizer mode than scorer. AND Gregor Crovatin three points, he widened the gap just before the break (41-36, 20′);
After returning from the dressing rooms, Dijon continue at a rapid pace with a 4-0 by Ware in the space of 50 seconds. After the thunderbolt, the Game was put right again thanks to the talent of the Floy/Palmer duo. But with a few mistakes, including the absence of opposing marks under the circle, the Bressani gave the same amount of ammunition to the Burgundians. If we add two triplets of David Bremblythis created a logical seven-point gap (69-62) for the JDA before the final quarter.
But the JDA hadn’t won the game yet, as we know the Bressan finish. Thanks to three launches of Pietro Capelli, even Bourg returned to a small point in less than two minutes (71-70, 32′). But as on several occasions in the match, McDuffie and his golden hands landed a blow to the head of the Bressani (77-70, 33 ‘). In all positions, even the most improbable, the strong winger joyfully sanctions the minimum space left by the Bressani defense, soon imitated by Holston. The Bressans scored almost only on the shots they got. And despite the last attempts of Mike and Palmer, the comeback did not happen. For the greatest pleasure of a Palais des Sports full as an egg.
