That was the heyday of his career: Ronnie Hillman in the spring of 2016 with the Denver Broncos.
On Wednesday, Ronnie Hillman’s family broke the sad news, confirming the ex-footballer’s death. The only 31-year-old left the world calmly and peacefully surrounded by his family and close friends. He was suffering from a rare and aggressive form of kidney cancer, diagnosed last August.
He was a running back in the NFL and played for Denver, Minnesota and San Diego from 2012 to 2017. He then had a contract with Dallas, but had to leave the team after a few months without playing.
His big highlight remains winning the Super Bowl with his first team, the Denver Broncos. He played in the 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. In the winning season, he went ahead with 863 yards and seven touchdowns. Seven years later he is no longer alive. (str)
