Al-Marsad newspaper: A source from Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has revealed the length of stay in Saudi Arabia available for Umrah visas for Egyptians during the current Umrah season.
The source added, warning of a “trap” some Egyptians fall into, that in the coming period, the period of residence in Saudi Arabia will decrease to 30 days for residence alone, as the blessed month of Ramadan approaches. so that no pilgrim stays within the Kingdom with the start of the month of Hajj.
The source indicated that, as of yesterday, Umrah visas have been issued for 89 days for residency only within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, explaining that the expected number of visas for each tour company during the Umrah season is 50 tourist visas, and at the present time there is a state of dispute among tourism companies regarding visa quotas.
