Blackmagic Design, the developer of video editing app DaVinci Resolve, previously announced that an iPad app is in the works. Ready for download later this year, the latest version of DaVinci Resolve for iPad is available today on the App Store and it’s free! also
For the app DaVinci Resolve is a popular video editing and color grading app that was previously available for Mac and Windows. The iPad version will include many features, including:
- Up to 4x faster Ultra HD ProRes rendering performance on iPad Pro, M2 chip.
- HDR editing support for 12.9-inch iPad Pro customers with M1 chip or later.
- Support for opening and creating project files from the PC version of DaVinci Resolve 18.
- H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes and Blackmagic RAW files are supported.
- Support for importing clips from iPad Pro internal storage, Photo Library, iCloud, or an external HDD connected via USB-C.
The file size is approximately 2GB and can be used with iPads that use the Apple A12 Bionic chip or higher and also run on iPadOS 16 or in the list below.

The DaVinci Resolve app for iPad is free to download. But for the Studio version, you will need to pay an additional 3,500 baht via in-app purchase.
