After raising interest rates by 3%.. a jump in the price of gold today in Egypt

Gold prices moved higher today Friday in Egypt as trading began a day after the Central Bank of Egypt’s decision to raise interest rates by 3% on Thursday, which is the largest interest rate hike of this year.

Following the Central Bank’s decision, the price of a gram of 21-karat gold fell by around £70 before picking up again this morning, and the gram rose by around £35.

Gold prices today

Prices for 14-karat gold rose to £1157 per gram.

The price of 18-karat gold has risen to £1,487 per gram.

And the price of 21-karat gold has risen to £1,735 per gram.

And the price of 24-karat gold has risen to £1,983 per gram.

The price of the gold pound

The price of the gold pound has risen to £13,880, and the price can vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of the gold in the pound.

The global price of gold

Global gold prices fell during evening trading on Thursday to around $1,807 an ounce, a drop of 0.39%, according to data from the Bloomberg agency.
