Since December 24 (Christmas Eve) is Saturday, all tram and bus lines operate regularly according to the Saturday timetable. On the first and second day of Christmas, the Sunday timetable applies with additional night runs. So-called Nightliners run until the early hours of the morning, while tram lines 2, 3, 8 and 9 and SEV lines 5E and 8E run every half hour throughout the night.
Pay one day, drive three days
On Christmas Eve and during the Christmas holidays, all RMV day tickets are valid for several days. If you buy a day or group day ticket on 24 December, you can also use it on 25 and 26 December. Day and group day tickets purchased on Christmas Day are also valid on Boxing Day. However, this regulation does not apply to journeys to transitional fare areas.
New Year’s traffic until the morning
Tram lines 2, 3, 8 and 9, SEV lines 5E and 8E and bus lines H, P, PE 8N run continuously on New Year’s Eve until early in the morning. From 1 January the lines will operate according to the Sunday and holiday timetable. Bus line 8N runs every hour on New Year’s Eve between the stops “Jugenheim Ludwigstraße” and “Hähnlein Neue Schule”. The first departure of line 8N is in Jugenheim at 20:25 and in Hähnlein at 20:49. Line 875 also leaves Darmstadt every hour via Riedbahn, Weiterstadt, Braunshardt, Worfelden, Schneppenhausen to Gräfenhausen. It will replace lines WE1, WE2, WE3 from 8pm. The first departure is at 20:27 at the “Darmstadt Schloss” stop, in the opposite direction at 21:15 at the “Gräfenhausen Postplatz” stop.
The regional buses 671 and 678 in the direction of Groß-Umstadt run every two hours, the line 672 in the direction of Ober-Roden runs every hour until around 3.30 am.
At “Dieburg Bahnhof” the buses change line number and become line 679. Passengers can remain on the bus as usual. The last departure of line 693 from “Reinheim Bahnhof” towards Fürth is at 19:12.
The other HEAG mobilo lines and the regional lines operate on Saturdays (December 31st) according to the regular Saturday timetable and on Sundays (January 1st 2023 – New Year’s Day) according to the Sunday and public holiday timetables.

The DADINA office is closed from Tuesday (December 27) to Friday (December 30). From Monday (2 January 2023) the DADINA team will be available to passengers again.

Wiesbaden
As every year, special timetable rules also apply for the ESWE Verkehr route network at Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Here’s everything you need to know at a glance:
• On 24 December, the Saturday schedule will run until around 5.00pm, after which the Nightliner night buses and lines 1 and 8 will run every 60 minutes (until 8.00pm) and every 90 minutes (from 8.00pm to 3:30). ). On Christmas Eve there is also a special service on line 5 from about 17:00 to about midnight every 60 minutes from the “Dern’sches Gelände” stop to “Jahnstraße” and back to the “Wilhelmstraße” stop. The Nightliner ring line N13 runs at the familiar 15-minute intervals. A special timetable applies on line 6.
• On the night of December 25th the Nightliner night buses also return to the city center (exception: line N13) according to a fixed timetable – telephone registration which is normally required if you take a line N to the city center again like, exceptionally not necessary here .
• December 25 and 26 are public holidays, so the normal Sunday and public holiday hours apply here.
• From 27 to 30 December, the timetable applies from Monday to Friday, excluding the journeys marked with “S”. The “School Holidays” timetable is applied on lines for which school and holiday timetables are set.
• On December 31st, until about 11.30pm, the Saturday timetable will be operational. The Nightliner lines and lines 1 and 8 therefore run on New Year’s Eve between 1:00 and 4:00 – every 45 minutes. The Nightliner ring line N13 runs at the familiar 15-minute intervals. A special timetable applies on line 6.
• On the night of 1 January 2023, the Nightliner night buses (exception: circular route N13) also return to the city center according to a fixed timetable. Telephone registration, normally required if you want to take an N line back to the city centre, is exceptionally unnecessary here.
• January 1st is a public holiday, the normal schedule for Sundays and public holidays applies here.
• The ESWE Verkehr Mobility Center in Dern’sche Gelände (Marktstrasse 10) is open on Christmas Eve, 24 December, and on New Year’s Eve, 31 December, from 10:00 to 14:00. The mobility information at the main train station (bus platform A) and at Luisenplatz (bus platform B) will remain closed these days. Normal opening hours apply on all other days; On Sundays and public holidays they are closed.
In order to prevent damage from vandalism caused by fireworks, ticket machines should be temporarily closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. In some suburbs of Wiesbaden the cars will be switched off as early as December 30th.
RMV Christmas Offer
“Three for the price of one” – applies to the RMV Christmas offer from 24 to 26 December. Passengers who purchase a day or group day ticket on Christmas Eve can make all journeys until December 26 in the selected fare zone by bus and train. However, this special regulation does not apply to journeys to transitional fare zones.

Offenbach am Main
The city bus service in Offenbach is once again subject to a holiday timetable at Christmas and at the beginning of the year. Passengers are requested to inquire about the departure times on Christmas Eve, during the Christmas, New Year and New Year holidays in the RMV timetable information or in the holiday timetable. Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve the local lines operate according to the normal Saturday timetable, but the latest departure is between 7 and 8 pm on Christmas Eve and between 8 and 9 pm: 00 on New Year’s Eve. The last possibility to change trains at Marktplatz between lines 101, 103 and 105 is on Christmas Eve at 19:42 and on New Year’s Eve at 20:42.
Christmas holidays
On Christmas and Boxing Day (December 25 and 26) the urban bus lines operate without restrictions according to the normal Sunday and holiday timetable.
Night traffic on New Year’s Eve
On New Year’s Eve, the residents of Offenbach can leave their cars at home, because from 00:30 to 4:30 the public service buses run according to a special timetable and bring everyone home safely from the party. The buses can be used at the normal RMV fare, but the routes differ from those of the normal city bus lines. At the market square there are transfer possibilities in all directions on every arrival. Passengers can view the network map of the lines and the timetables of the night lines in the holiday timetable.
The RMV night bus lines run on public holidays
With the night bus lines of the RMV, passengers remain mobile during Christmas and New Year’s Eve, even beyond the borders of Offenbach: There are many transfer possibilities on the market square during Christmas nights and on the night from New Year’s Eve to New Year’s Eve. The night bus line no. 65 runs every night, including Christmas and New Year’s Day, between the market square in Offenbach and the Konstablerwache in Frankfurt. The night bus n72 also runs every night between Dietzenbach and the airport, stopping in Offenbach and Neu-Isenburg. Line N16 to Frankfurt also stops at the August-Bebel-Ring stop (city limits). Mobility Center closed on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve
The RMV mobility center in Salzgässchen 1 is closed on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and during the Christmas holidays. Over the years, the employees are available to customers during their usual opening hours (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9am-3pm and Thursday 9am-6pm) and are happy to help with questions on public transport in Offenbach.
