Scammers failed with WhatsApp scam

On Wednesday afternoon, unknown persons tried to scam a woman (55) via the WhatsApp messaging service.
They pretended to be the 55-year-old’s son, who had a new mobile phone number and needed more than 1,900 euros. The woman acknowledged the fraud and informed the police.

– Talk to relatives if you receive such messages!
– Don’t rush to transfer money to unknown accounts!
