Michelle Monaghan as caring mother
“Blood” uses the increasingly popular bad boy horror element. This concept was already successful in “Orphan: First Kill” because it turns the image of the innocent and vulnerable child upside down. In “Blood” this idea is taken even further and a child is seen passionately sucking on a bottle of blood. These nightmarish images define the quality of “Blood” and illustrate the question: How far would you go to save your child?
Michelle Monaghan is best known for her roles in Gone baby gone”, “kiss kiss bang bang” and “Mission Impossibleknown. Joining her are “Scream” star Skeet Ulrich, Skylar Morgan Jones and child star Finlay Wojtak-Hissong.
“Blood” will be released on January 27, 2023 in the United States. A theatrical release for Austria is not yet known.
