“We try to make people aware, cancer is a silent enemy and the faster it is diagnosed, the lower the risk of suffering from it or, in the worst case, of losing one’s life. This is why we invite our policyholders to access a free screening quickly and safely.”, expressed Dr. Ana Ramos, medical director of Pacífico Salud EPS.
The wellness check-up for women aged 30 to 39 consists of an ultrasound and a gynecological evaluation. While, women between the ages of 40 and 75 receive a 2D mammogram, a gynecological evaluation, as well as a virtual gynecological consultation.
The clinical centers where these services are provided are the SANNA Miraflores Clinical Center, the SANNA Chacarilla Clinical Center and Medicis de Magdalena; with prestigious offices and state-of-the-art medical technology.
It is important to note that the campaign applies to affiliates and policyholders (members and dependents), enrolled in EPS health plans or Pacífico Seguros medical assistance policies.
In a country where the mortality rate from breast cancer is 9 per 100,000 inhabitants, it will be important not to miss this opportunity to be treated by top-level specialists. Likewise, keep in mind that exercise, a balanced diet, avoiding overweight and trying to relieve stress help us take care of our physical and mental health.
