Finalmouse has now introduced its new Centerpiece keyboard. The keyboard has its own GPU and CPU as well as an LCD screen under the switches that can create different interactive skins powered by Unreal 5.
Interactive skins can, for example, be a fishing pond in which fishermen react to button presses or small games that run in the background. It is also possible to use various animations as a keyboard background.
Furthermore, Centerpiece is said to hold the standard in terms of keyboards aimed at gamers and must, among other things, be resistant to stilts and offer the best latency in the industry. It connects via usb-c and does not use any of the computer resources.
The price starts from 349 dollars, corresponding to about 3620 crowns. The keyboard will be released in early 2023.
You can watch a video showing the centerpiece in more detail below.
