Services provided for the care of patients with flu, corona or RS viruses would have to be paid for additionally, said Federal President Beier. The association has also called for immediate measures such as at the beginning of the corona pandemic. One suggestion is that children should be able to get sick for at least three days without a doctor’s note. In the case of sick leave by telephone, the Association of General Practitioners requires that this be paid at the same rate as sick leave after a personal practice visit.
In addition to Corona, other respiratory diseases such as RS viruses in children are currently causing many serious infections and overloaded clinics and doctors’ practices.
