In March, news broke that the actor Bruce Willis (67) had been diagnosed with aphasia. According to Asafiforbundet in Norway, the diagnosis provides speech impairment as a result of disease or damage to the brain.
Due to illness, Willis had to retire as an actor after nearly 40 years in the industry, and according to his close friend and acting colleague, Sylvester Stallone (75)the 67-year-old “disappeared” after the diagnosis.
– I’m going through a very difficult time
Now, however, the Willis family has received some good news just before Christmas. The ‘Die Hard’ actor is about to become a grandfather.
From his previous marriage to Demi Moore (60), Willis has three daughters Rumer (34), Scout (31) and Tallulah (28).
It is the eldest daughter of the former couple who is now expecting her first child.
The grandmother-to-be shared a series of photos on Instagram of her daughter with a pregnant belly. Below the image, Moore wrote, “Entering my crazy grandmother period.”
Willis remarried in 2009 to Emma Heming Willis (44). Together they have daughters Mabel (10) and Evelyn (8).
Heming Willis also congratulated his stepdaughter on Instagram.
“Child news is happy news! Congratulations, we can’t wait!” she writes.
It was Rumer who shared the news that the father was ill.
“This is a difficult time for our family and we are very grateful for your love and support. We are going through this as a strong family and wanted to let fans know about this because we know how much he means to you, how much you mean to him,” she wrote on Instagram when the illness was announced.
The family has thus far neither confirmed nor denied whether the star suffered a stroke.
